Discuss the types of shot and angle and what emotions they portray

Brainstorm types of music that would show the mood and emotion of the characters / plot

Introduce the term foley (sound effects)

Import the silent movie into iMovie or Windows Movie Maker

Add music

Add credits for this rotation

Save and export movie

Dropbox the movie to your team leader AND the class that originally made the silent movie!
Await for the online premiere!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

It is important to re-watch the movie several times AFTER you have added your music.

Check that the music does NOT 'drown'out the voices or the sound effects.

It is the combination of image, voice, sound effect and music that add to the understanding and pleasure of viewing the students' movies.
